They Made it!

We just got the official phone call (11:15am our time). Tom called from China. Everybody is safe and accounted for. They are really, really, really tired. But they are there!!!!

According to the United Airlines web site, The Journey East II flight number 853 arrived safely this morning at 8:33 am (our time which is 9:33 pm their time (Beijing).

WHEW!!!

They’ll be spending the next several hours processing through the airport. The Beijing Huijia School will be meeting the group at the airport. I am sure some of the kids will go straight to sleep while others will be too wired and relieved to sleep!

Beijing China!

Tomorrow the group will visit the Great Wall (can you imagine?!) during the day and then off to the Beijing Opera in the evening. Each day we’ll provide links to web sites showing you some of the places we think they will be. Including some photos from the visit two years ago.

The weather in Beijing for the next few days promises to be clear and sunny. Couldn’t be more perfect for their visits to these great wonders of the world!
